Fishin’ in Sarasota

If fishing is what you love, then Sarasota has all the spots you’ll love checking out. When we moved here from New York, about the only kind of fish I was used to catching was trout. Here, you never know what you’ll catch! I’ve caught small shark, snapper, sheepshead, mangrove snapper and as the pictures show, snook. What fun! You can usually find me on Sunday nights down under New pass bridge. Once the water temps rise to the 70s the fish start poppin. If you’re into watching dolphins you can sometimes see them feeding on the bait fish. A lot different than the fishing up north!
